Challenge: The Town of Indian River Shores needed to modernize its Council Chamber technology to better support public meetings, presentations, live streaming, and community engagement.
The existing audiovisual system had become increasingly difficult to operate and maintain, creating uncertainty during important public meetings. Audio quality was impacted by room acoustics and sound reflections, making clear communication more challenging for council members, staff, and residents.

IM Solutions partnered with the Town of Indian River Shores to modernize its Council Chamber with an integrated audiovisual, conferencing, and broadcast solution designed to improve meeting reliability, usability, and public engagement.
The new system streamlines meeting operations through centralized control, improved audio performance, professional conferencing capabilities, and enhanced presentation technology. Acoustic improvements within the chamber further improved speech intelligibility and reduced sound reflections, creating a clearer and more consistent experience for council members, staff, and attendees.
To support transparency and community access, the Town also implemented a professional live streaming and meeting production workflow. The new platform enables staff to confidently manage, broadcast, and record public meetings while providing the flexibility to support future operational needs.

- Centralized Control & Audio Processing – Crestron unified control and Biamp digital signal processor allows staff to manage room technology through an intuitive touchscreen interface while advanced audio processing improves speech intelligibility, reduces feedback, and delivers consistent audio performance throughout the chamber.
- Broadcast & Live Streaming – PTZOptics 4K cameras and a Vizrt TriCaster production platform provide professional-quality live streaming, recording, and meeting production capabilities. The system enables Town staff to produce, manage, and broadcast meetings from within the Council Chamber or remotely, providing operational flexibility while ensuring reliable public access to live and recorded meeting content.
- Accessibility & System Infrastructure – Assistive listening technologies, professional audio reinforcement, and enterprise-grade network infrastructure support ADA accessibility requirements while providing the reliability, performance, and scalability needed for long-term municipal operations.
