Audio Visual Systems Upgrades
Project Scope
Challenge: Brevard County required a new Emergency Operations Center capable of supporting real-time decision making, multi-agency coordination and critical communications during major emergencies.
The AV systems needed to support a range of operational environments, including the primary Operations Room, Dispatch Room, production and broadcast spaces, training rooms, conference rooms and ITS Room, while providing a consistent and intuitive experience for County personnel.

SOLUTION:
IM Solutions partnered with AJAX Building Company and Brevard County to engineer and implement the AV systems for the new Emergency Operations Center.
A Crestron NVX AV-over-IP backbone provides low-latency video distribution and flexible content routing throughout the facility. Crestron control systems provide a consistent user interface, while Biamp audio processing, Shure microphone systems and LG commercial displays support communication and visualization across the various operational spaces.
Dedicated production and broadcast systems utilizing Vizrt technology provide live production, recording and switching capabilities for emergency communications and media briefings.
IM Solutions provided engineering design, project management, installation, programming, commissioning, troubleshooting and end-user training.

- Commercial Displays – LG: 4K displays supporting operational information and video throughout the EOC.
- Broadcast & Media Production – Vizrt: Live production, switching and recording capabilities for emergency communications and media briefings.
RESULTS & IMPACT:
The completed AV systems provide Brevard County with an integrated technology platform supporting situational awareness, communication and coordination throughout the Emergency Operations Center.
The system also supports timely public communications, helping the County share critical updates, safety information and emergency messaging with residents during major events.
